Overwatch Tier List - The Most Popular Heroes To Use In 2021

game

Overwatch remains among the most popular competitive games out there, even after nearly five years on the market. While many eyes are currently on the development of Overwatch 2, it's become obvious that we won't receiving the game this year.

In the meantime players have to live with what the game currently has to offer. Thankfully Overwatch is in pretty great condition right now. While Overwatch hasn't had an original hero since the last year since Echo was released, the constant adjustments to balance have kept it looking fresh. The game also has one the most interesting and exciting metas it's ever had, with an array of deadly heroes to choose from.

But which are doing well? If you're looking to get into Overwatch competitive and make some SR, who should you play? There's plenty to learn , and plenty of information for new players. Luckily, we've got all the information you need and you'll be flying up the ranks within a matter of minutes. This is our Overwatch Tier list, in complete. Below is the list of The Most Played Overwatch Heroes

The Most Played Heroes On Overwatch

Tier-1

Wrecking ball

The Wrecking Ball has been very strong over the past few months. A lot of the major tanks are struggling a little currently, but even despite some nerfs, it seems that the Overwatch community has begun to understand how to beat the hamster. It's among the heroes that the current meta revolves around.

He's the most picked at Grandmaster rank and it's easy to understand the reason. Hammond is undisputedly the commander in tanks' work in creating space. In his capacity to destroy and disrupt the enemy's frontline and backline, Hammond is unmatched. Even with a recent nerf in his boop strength, he causes havoc on any team that is trying to establish their position.

He's not a character that can be improved with the passage of time. He is a fan of maps and specific rollouts. Also, the line between feeding your brains out and tearing teams apart is extremely thin. But, if you are able to learn your way around the little man, there are very few or none of the characters that are as powerful as he is today.

Zarya

Zarya is now the most played overwatch heroes. Zarya is the most popular off-tank option for top-level play. Her synergy with Wrecking Ball is extremely strong. Like Winston/Zarya pairings in the past, she has the ability to play a bubble hamster when she goes in to give him some free energy while shielding the progress from any crowd control.

TRACER

Overwatch is often in a good position in times when Tracer is a strong meta. Overwatch is at a high point as you will see. The cooldowns of Tracer are so frequent that, in an economy that has many capabilities and abilities, it's a good amount of trouble to be. But, she could transform into a killer in a moment's notice in the event of a skill being wasted or a mistake in position occurs.

MCCREE

McCree is the ideal partner to Tracer on DPS. McCree is the ideal companion for Tracer on DPS.

ZENYATTA

Zenyatta is in a great place for a bunch of reasons. Because of the power and influence of the people around Zenyatta's Discord Orb is always oppressive. Zen can easily call shots by placing a discord on a target. These mobile heroes can dive and decimate key opponents by putting a discord on the target.

MERCY

Zenyatta's most loved partner is Mercy However, the supporting role is split more evenly among the characters.

Mercy is clearly the winner right now, for two reasons. While she lacks some of the healing power of the other support systems however, she is constant and, most importantly, hard to pin down. Compared to most other supports she's more cautious and resistant to being sunk. She is a difficult target for Wrecking balls and Tracers because of her ability to avoid attacks.

TIER 2

REINHARDT

Reinhardt has witnessed a surge in his pick rate lately. While his slow play may appear to be in opposition to the blazing pace of the Wrecking Ball set-up but he is also a good counter-play. Wrecking Ball has recently seen an increase of 25% in its knockback. Reinhardt's passive Steadfast ability already provides him with an increase of 30% to this effect. That means the hamster really will struggle to move the hamster around.

Although a well-coordinated dive team could be more effective, you can get value with Reinhardt currently, especially in the case of players who are more in a more aggressive manner. While it's a little early in his rise to get Reinhardt in the top spot up there, in just a few months, Reinhardt could break Ball's grip on the meta.

SIGMA

Tier 2 is not traditionally a great spot for Sigma. The tank has been prevalent throughout the years due to his deep kit that his not being a popular choice in most compositions is him underperforming. After several heavy nerfs and nerfs, he has now a lot more utility.
